- Annual board meeting
- Chaim agreed to be suppleant revisor.
-
WeCloud (on WeChange): everyone has access to it.
-
Mailing list: Sara and Jens have access to it currently. Lars will also have access to emails and will take over answering requests. Everyone on the board will get access to the email account.
-
Website: Sara will send out password to the board. Sara is currently (only) updating the events calendar. If anyone wants to take over the admin then they’re welcome. Lars volunteers to have a look at it, e.g. make a Swedish version of the “What is Degrowth” page. More will be taken up in one of the next regular meetings: What is missing on the website?
-
Meeting topic 28 Oct: How to get involved in working group + working in working groups. Rename Library & Material working group to Learning group. Remove members from Signal group that are not active at all. Focus on groups that are lacking people. Also stressing that groups should not have 20 inactive members, but rather a few that get something done.
-
Meeting topic 11 Nov: Communication (website content).
-
Social working group needs more members. Tasks: make sure we have some social meetings, XR beers, kickoff for new members.
-
Meeting 9 Nov - last meeting before Christmas break. Potluck.
-
How to make decisions in the board? Esp. when we are not 3 people present. Can we take decisions over Signal, or at least voting?
-
There should have been a follow-up from the Overshoot Festival working group. Like a debriefing. What should be done with the people that left e-mail addresses (e.g. social meetup), what were the learnings,
-
Signal group: Too many chatty topics. Make a new Degrowth Active members 2025/26 mostly for announcements, and leave the current group as an exchange group “Degrowth Exchanges” for Degrowth-related events. Every start of the new semester we can make a new group or take out inactive members. Or should we have a group for only paying members? Or should people be only added if they’ve showed up to at least 3 events? Sara will announce that in the Signal group. We’ll also restrict who can add new members to the Signal group(s), it will be the board.
