Backpacking porridge
Use instant oats if you just have access to hot water. Otherwise, normal oat flakes are fine. Bring separately or mix together:
- Oat flakes - 50 g per person per portion
- Dried or freeze-dried fruits: bananas, berries, apples, pineapple, mango, dates, cranberries etc.
- Nuts: almonds, coconut shavings, walnuts, peanuts
- Portioned nut butter
- Cocoa powder
- Chia seeds
- Cinnamon
- Dried milk powder
