Sunflower “Moonwalker” (Nelson Garden)
Helianthus annuus Annual Easy to grow. Bushy variety with big, intensely yellow flowers and chocolate-coloured middle. Happy in most soils. Needs a lot of water and fertiliser.
- Sow inside: April. Fill pot with 2/3 fertilised flower soil and the rest sowing soil. Place 1-2 seeds per pot into the moist soil, 1 cm deep. Place at room temperature, keep moist. After germination, only keep one plant per pot. Place light and cool. Water and fertilise.
- Place/plant outside: April, May. After the last frost.
- Bloom: July, August, September
