Thrifted duvet covers, cotton, printed with pastel colours. Size 4

Adjustments

Sewed a straight size 4, but shortened the length quite a lot to hit me right at the hip bone. That makes it almost cropped. Instead of cutting it off I actually made quite a wide bottom hem, which looks very nice.

Next time

The sleeve cuffs are a tiny bit tight when I flex my arms, so instead of 1.5 cm seam allowance use 1 cm for them next time.
The cleavage is quite low, I wouldn’t wear it without a tank top underneath. So if possible shorten the cleavage gap by ca. 5 cm next time.
I like the length of the cropped version I made, but it wouldn’t stay tucked into lower waisted jeans. So if that is desired, then make them a bit longer.
As this time, make a wider bottom hem.
The very thin ties were a PAIN to make. The method described in the instructions is crap, so I used the method where you sew a rope into the tube and then turn it inside out. But it was still a pain, because it’s so narrow.
Every time I sew a round collar I am annoyed afterwards how wobbly the stitching looks. This time it was better, but sew the collar by hand next time.
